Falmouth, Maine Wedding

It has been a while since I posted any of my work, because we are in full-swing wedding season!  Weddings and engagement sessions take up most of my time, so I have not been able to post as much as I’d like.  However, I had a few minutes today, so I thought I would share some favorites from this wedding!

Heather and Mike are so well suited for eachother; not to mention, the camera absolutely loves them.  To read a little about their story, check out their engagement photos, here.

It was the perfect summer day, lightly breezy, partly cloudy, and about 72 degrees.  This is why I love shooting weddings in Maine!

Heather photographed the men prior to the wedding, so we could have a peek at their preparations:

These two chose to have a First Look Session prior to the wedding.  It is a wonderful way to calm the pre-wedding jitters.  The bride and groom meet in a secluded spot to see eachother for the first time on the big day, hug, and catch their breath.  This type of session is a regular occurrence these days, as many couples want to get some photos completed before the ceremony, as well.  It makes the day much smoother, in terms of allowing the couple to enjoy cocktail hour (after the ceremony) with their guests, rather than spending the entire time taking photographs.

Now, on to the ceremony!

Any guess who Heather got her million dollar smile from?

A sweet moment during the father/daughter dance.

Thanks, Mike and Heather, for the invitation to photograph your wedding.  You two were so much fun to work with; can’t wait to share the rest of your images with you!
