Bar Harbor, ME

Brittany and Ryan met through mutual friends at a party.  Sparks flew instantly, and they have been together, ever since!  After a couple years of dating, Ryan decided to make it official, and ordered an engagement ring.  He was planning to propose at the site where they first met, but when the ring arrived, he couldn’t wait.  He proposed as soon as he saw her later that day, and Brittany agreed to become his wife!

These two were married at the Harborside Hotel in Bar Harbor, ME.  Bar Harbor is one of my very favorite vacation spots in Maine.  The town is right on the water, and all the places you’d want to go are within walking distance.  A short drive from downtown Bar Harbor will take you to Acadia National Park, where you could spend all day biking, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, or driving to the top of Cadillac Mountain.  We always suggest this spot to friends/family who visit us from out of state.  When I first spoke with Brittany about her wedding plans, I was excited to hear that she would be having her wedding in Bar Harbor.  What an amazing spot for a destination wedding!

I love these custom-designed hangers from Etsy.com!

All of these ladies (besides each being extremely photogenic) were so sweet, and lots of fun to work with…

The ceremony took place on the deck at the Bar Harbor Club Pool House, overlooking the ocean.

The reception was held in the pool house:

Danny DeBruin with Northeast Event Design provided DJ services, as well as the photo-booth, and the amazing uplighting at this event.  As always, he did a wonderful job!

Floating lanterns were lit and sent off at the end of the night!

Thank you both for inviting us to photograph your wedding day.  It was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it!
